Carol L. Nodo

Carol L. Nodo, 85, passed away on October 3, 2021, following an extended illness. She was born in Canton on October 22, 1935 to Lloyd and Carolyn (Kinney) Krumlauf. Carol was a 1953 graduate of Central Catholic High School. She worked for The Jackson Local Schools and retired in 1995. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and the Class of 53 Card Club. She volunteered at St. Mary’s Catholic Church and school. She is survived by her husband, William S. Nodo, whom she married on September 8, 1956; their children, Mark (Kathryn) Nodo, Patrick (Wende) Nodo, David (Tina Motz) Nodo, Greg (Becky Morgan) Nodo, Kevin (Kim) Nodo and Kim Marie (Rodolfo) Ramirez; 13 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Marilyn Yutzy and Lloyd Krumlauf. The family will receive friends on Sunday October 10, 2021 from 2pm-4pm at the Paquelet Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Edward Gretchko on Monday, October 11, 2021 at 10:00am at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
