Carol L. Boyer-Edwards

Carol L. Boyer-Edwards, age 71 of Massillon, passed away Thursday, August 7, 2008 at Chapel Hill Community in Canal Fulton. She was born on February 6, 1937 in Massillon and was the daughter of the late Joseph Eggenschwiler and Virginia Wolfer. Carol was a lifelong resident of Massillon and a 1955 graduate of Washington High School. Carol worked as Court Administrator for the 5th District Court of Appeals in Canton for 27yrs. She was a member of Trinity U.C.C. in Canton. She loved Ballroom dancing and competed in dance contests for Fred Astaire Dance Studio. The family would like to thank the staff at Chapel Hill Community for all their support. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Eugene Edwards in 1987. She is survived by her daughters and their spouses, Sheryl (Michael) Rohr of Massillon and Terry (Beeba) Fox of Canal Fulton; her grandsons, Chris (Jen) and Patrick Rohr, and Brandon (Miranda) Fox; her brothers, Edward (Barbara) Eggenschwiler and Jack (Lana) Eggenschwiler both of Massillon; the William Edwards family and grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, August 12, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at Trinity U.C.C., 3909 Blackburn Road N.W., Canton, Ohio. Burial will follow at North Lawn Cemetery in Canton. A Celebration of her life will follow the burial at the V.F.W. Post #9795 at 2:00 P.M. in Canal Fulton. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to either the Palliative Care of Medina Co. or her church, Trinity U.C.C. in Canton.
