Carol Ann Douglas

Carol Douglas, 84, passed away on Monday, September 5, 2022. Carol was born on January 24, 1938, in Canton, Ohio the daughter of the late Charles B. and Helen (Barron) Luckner. She was a 1956 graduate of Washington High School. Carol was a member of the Massillon Senior Center for many years. She was also lifelong member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Massillon. Carol worked at Watts Confectionary for several years. She was an avid reader, Bingo, and card player, loved attending social events and spending time with her family.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Wally Douglas.

She is survived by her children, Walter (Marilyn) Douglas, and Linda Douglas; grandchildren, Bambi Simon, Matthew (Rachel) Douglas, and Jennifer Douglas; and great-granddaughters, Kylie, Audrey, Alexis, and Mylah.

The family would like to thank the staff at Rose Lane Nursing and Rehab Center and Wellspring Hospice for their compassion and care.

The family will receive friends at the Paquelet Funeral Home on Saturday, September 10, 2022, from 10-11 a.m. The service will be held at 11 a.m. Burial will be at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Messages of comfort and support may be sent to the family at www.paquelet.com.
