Carmita Machell Robinson

March 12, 1975 — March 10, 2020

Carmita "Meach:" Machell Robinson who was a lifelong resident of Massillon passed away on March 10, 2020 at the age of 44 after a 10 year battle with multiple illnesses. Carmita was born on March 12, 1975 the oldest daughter of Gary & Marandia Young. Carmita was survived by her five siblings Gary Thomas (Annie) Young, Terrrell (Angee) Young, Terrie (James) Ragland, Melissa (Trevor) Brown & Latoya Young along with several uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews & friends whom she all loved dearly and cared for them all collectively & individually from a young girl to her final days. Carmita graduated from Washington High School in 1994 with her license in Cosmetology, she enjoyed making people feel beautiul inside & out. Carmita also worked as a Collection/Customer Service Rep. for several years with GE, Procar, BankOne & Arthur Middleton. The official marriage was on September 10, 2005 Carmita married the love of her life Torrice Robinson that began a union that would be recognized & respected forever which set the foundation for their legacy of love. The seeds of their love produced their ROCK - STAR kids her daughter who she called her "Z-Rock" Zharia Cherrel because of her strength & how she had to learn to take care of and help in so many ways from a young age just as she did for her brothers & sisters, that grew their bond exponentially well past a typical mother-daughter relationship they were best friends. The second edition was her "Star Big Boy" Torrice Jr. who always made her so proud with his academic excellence & numerous awards he has received & her two honorary kids Myana Rolland & Michael Billman. Carmita was devoted to her family and never wanted to miss either of their events, she would be so disappointed when illness prevented her from supporting her kids which was always her highest priority. The second passion was cooking from the "little girl that fry that chicken" throughout her entire life to make it from a chore to a gift to nurture souls, she always insisted you eat and sit down so she could see the expression on you face it gave her joy to see people enjoy her cooking. The last order of unfinished business was a "Love Center" in which she wanted to feed any & everybody and just love on you and talk with you about whatever you were dealing with and help you figure it with love. The fruits of her love will be forever missed, cherished & never forgotten
