Carl Wadian, 96, passed away on October 27, 2021, following a brief illness. He was born in Massillon on June 26, 1925 to George and Elizabeth (Morar) Wadian. Carl was a veteran of The United States Army, serving as a first scout 9th Infantry during World War II and received a Purple Heart and Bronze Star with 3 Oak Clusters. He retired after 30 years from Massillon Storage. Carl was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. He was dedicated to his children and enjoyed gardening and music. He is survived by his children, Kathy Miller, Karen Crowe , Ron (Joan) Wadian and Tim (Anne) Wadian; grandchildren, Eric, Marcie, Jason, Sara, Drew, Abby and Collin; and great-grandchildren, Emily, Dan, Kate, Bodhi and Breya. In addition to his parents, Carl was preceded in death by his son, Gary Wadian and six brothers and four sisters. A private family, Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
