C. Sue Hartwick

C. Sue Hartwick, age 69, surrounded by her family, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 25, 2013. Sue was born in Canton on February 1, 1944 to the late Gaza and Dora Jacobs. She attended East Canton Schools and was a graduate of Louisville High School. Sue married David Hartwick on September 24, 1966 and they shared 47 wonderful years together and he survives her. Sue worked for the former Towne Construction, the former Gibbons-Grable Construction Co., Tri-State Mobility Equipment Co. and most recently was an officer with Tri-State Elevators, a family owned business. Sue loved traveling and flower gardening. She will forever be remembered as a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. In addition to her husband, Sue is survived by her two sons Brian and Kevin (Nye), whom she was very proud of; her granddaughter Ziggy Grace Hartwick; and her brothers Robert (Nancy) Jacobs and Roy (Karen) Jacobs, her mother-in-law Evelyn Hartwick Finley as well as a host of nieces, nephews and friends. A Funeral Service will be held at the Paquelet Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at 11 A.M. Pastor Delaney Young, officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. on Monday, April 29, 2013 at the Paquelet Funeral Home and 1 hour prior to the service.
