C. Nellie Bickis

C. Nellie Bickis, age 83 of Massillon passed away Wednesday April 17, 2013 at Woodlawn Compassionate Care Center. Nellie was born August 11, 1929 in Canton to the late Charles & Lena (Wasiety) Such and graduated from Lincoln High School. In 1947 she married George Bickis. She would say she never worked a day in her life. Yet everyday she was beside her husband at the Cameo Bar & Grill and then at Indenco. Her husband and family were first in her life. Nellie and George enjoyed square dancing and camping. George passed away in 2009. Nellie will be remembered by her two children and their spouses: Annette & Dan Corpe and George & Sharon Bickis. There are seven grandchildren: Jeremy (Angela) Corpe, Erin Stayer (Doug Wheeler), Joe (Amy) Corpe, Teresa Friley, George (Sarah) Bickis, Michael (Julie) Bickis and Robb (Megan) Bickis. And six great grandchildren: Seth, Kayla, Jonathon, Brendan, Nathan and Olivia. And a brother, Charles Such. Her funeral service will be 10 AM Saturday at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon, Pastor Bruce Roth and Pastor Kimberly Vaughn will officiate. Burial will be at Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends may call Friday from 6-8 PM and 1 hour before the service at the Paquelet Funeral Home. Memorials can be sent to the Aultman Woodlawn Compassionate Center.
