C. Herb Campbell, 69, of Massillon, passed away on July 21, 2015, following a brief illness. He was born in Massillon on April 8, 1946 to the late Charles H. Campbell, Sr. and the late Ruth V. (Conaway) Shook. Herb was a graduate of Tuslaw High School and a veteran of the United States Army. He was the former owner of Shamrock Aluminum and loved to deal in antiques. He is known for his friendly nature and his sense of humor. Always the big brother, Herb loved to help his family and friends. He is survived by his sister, Becky (Thomas) Gatsios of Massillon; a brother, Scott (Leanne) Shook of Marco Island, FL; two step-children, Renee Bischoff of Bakersfield, CA and Randy Borntrager of Canton; and several nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Tim and Bruce Campbell; sister, Lori Campbell; and step-son, Richard Borntrager. Friends may call at the Paquelet Funeral Home on Monday, July, 27, 2015 from 10:00AM-11:00AM with a funeral service to follow at 11:00AM. A military service will follow in Brookfield Cemetery.
