Bruce "Bubba" Jackson died peacefully at home in Canal Fulton, OH on August 11, his faithful but perpetually needy Greater Swiss Mountain dog, Gambit guarding the foot of his bed until the end. Bruce is survived by his husband, Steven; his mother, Marcine of Rittman; his brothers Kenny (Mary) of Wadsworth and Brian (Trish) of Fairlawn, heir, Dusty (Jackie) Wilbur of Massillon, nephews, niece and beloved friends and co-workers. He is preceded in death by his father Charles. Bruce was born December 23, 1962 in Barberton, Ohio, attended Rittman High School and the University of Akron. He worked for the J.M. Smucker Company in Orville for most of his adult life. He was a talented photographer, a craftsman woodworker, all around handyman and enjoyed picking up after his husband. His great joy was his annual themed Christmas Party. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Friday, August 19, 2016 at 7p.m. The family will receive friends from 5-7pm. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Bruce's life. In lieu of flowers, fellow mourners are encouraged to make a difference for someone else be it someone you know or one you do not.
