Brian Matthew Roderick, 46, of Jackson Township, passed away on Sunday, August 15, 2021, following a lengthy battle with cancer. Brian was born on November 4, 1974, in Parma, Ohio the son of Al and Gloria (Lincoln) Roderick. Brian graduated from Parma High School in 1993 and then graduated from the Kent State University. He enjoyed coaching both football and baseball. Brian also loved fishing. He was a crazy Steeler’s fan and Ohio State fan. Brian also loved to cheer on the Jackson Polar Bears. Brian’s children were his entire world. He was a member of the Faith Family Church. He is survived by his loving wife, Vanessa (McCully) Roderick who he shared 13 years of marriage; his children, Cooper, and Peyton Roderick; parents, Al and Gloria Roderick; brother, Albert Roderick; niece, Alexis Roderick; nephew AJ Roderick; father & mother-in-law, Tom & Sue McCully; sisters-in-law, Julie (Steve) Miller & Tammy McCully; brothers-in-law, Tom McCully & Keith (Devin) Hill; nephews and niece, Roman, Nick, Grant & Isla; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. A Celebration of Brian’s life will be held on Thursday, August 19, 2021, at 6 p.m. at Faith Family Church in Canton.
