Brian "B" Jones

Brian R. Jones, 56 of Canton, passed away on Saturday, November 14, 2015 after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. He was born in Canton on January 5, 1959 and was the son of the late Robert and Geraldine Jones. Following graduation from Central Catholic High School, Brian worked in Florida in food service and landscaping. He owned various restaurants in Stark County throughout the years. At the time of his death he worked for Liberty Health Share. Brian was an avid fisherman on many waters, but Wisconsin was his favorite. He enjoyed cabin life and boating with family and friends on Seneca Lake. He is survived by his wife, Kimberly (formerly Janowicz), daughter, Abbey and son Anthony, whom he dearly loved and his siblings, Karen (Mike) Patton, Elaine Jones, Jean (Jim) Lincoln, Linda (Alan) Clark and Rick (Cheryl) Jones. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews, his Aunt Pat and his father and mother-in-law, Frank and Peg Janowicz and his brothers-in-law, Fran (Amy), Greg (Karen) and Glenn (Joyce) Janowicz and all of their children. The family will receive friends at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home on Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. and on Thursday from 12 noon until 1:00 p.m. A service to remember Brian's life will begin at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. In keeping with his wishes, cremation will take place and his cremated remains will be placed in two memorable places that he requested. The family would like to extend their appreciation to Affinity Medical Center, and Crossroads Hospice for their compassionate care extended to Brian and the family during his final days.
