Brent M. Offenbecher, 56, of Alliance, passed away on December 27, 2017. He was born in Alliance, Ohio on May 15, 1961 to William and Loretta (Peloso) Offenbecher. Brent was a former Massillon Tigers quarterback and then went on to play football at The Ohio State University. After his football career, Brent worked as a car salesman for over 25 years. He was also a former member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Massillon. Brent will be remembered for his kind and caring personality which did not go unnoticed. He was always around to give a helping hand and would even give the shirt off his back to help someone in need. In spare time, Brent enjoyed gardening, wood working and cooking, especially his famous lasagna and bean soup. His greatest passion in life was being a loving son, brother, father and grandfather. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. He leaves to cherish his memories, his parents Bill and Loretta Offenbecher; daughters Julie (Joe) Williamson, Amy (Nick) Webb, and Nicole Offenbecher; brothers Bob Offenbecher, Brad (Tammy) Offenbecher and BJ (Candy) Offenbecher; 4 grandchildren Rylee Williamson, Reese Williamson, Alex Webb and Sophie Webb. The family will be holding a memorial service to celebrate his life on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Living Water Church, 1135 Lincoln Way East Massillon, Ohio 44646. In lieu of flowers, monetary donations may be made to Paquelet Funeral Home, 1100 Wales Rd. NE, Massillon, Oh 44646, to help the family with expenses.
