Braden N. Cassidy

Braden N. Cassidy, 46, of Canton, passed away November 21, 2024. 

Braden was born October 1, 1978 in Massillon, OH. He was a 1996 graduate of Perry High School. For over 20 years, Braden worked for Nationwide Insurance. He was an avid Cleveland Browns fan, but enjoyed watching all college football as well as other Cleveland teams, such as the Guardians and Cavaliers. Braden loved cats, especially his cats, Halo and Puffy. 

Braden is survived by his mother and stepfather, Kathy and Jeff Lorenzo, and his father and stepmother, Richard and Vicky Grella; siblings April (Erin) Stavroff, Leah (Chris) McCune, Derek Grella and Jacob Grella; grandfather Ronald Markowsky; grandmother Rose Lorenzo; and nieces Hayden and Jordyn Apostalides. Braden will also be missed by many other family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Joseph Lorenzo; grandmother, Millie MacCartney; and cousin, Bo Lorenzo. 

Visitation will take place on Friday, November 29, 2024 from 1:00PM – 3:00PM at the Paquelet Funeral Home, 1100 Wales Rd. NE, Massillon, OH 44646, with a brief service immediately following, at 3:00PM. Memorial Donations in Braden’s honor may be made to the EHE foundation at www.fightehe.org.
