Bonnie S. Carpenter

Bonnie S. Carpenter, age 67 of Massillon, died on Thursday, January 12, 2012 at Affinity Medical Center. She was born on May 31, 1944 in Massillon and was the daughter of the late Sherman and Hazel Ruth (Blake) McGeorge. Bonnie was a graduate of Washington High School and had been employed as a caregiver at many area nursing homes and at the former Massillon Community Hospital. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Carpenter and her brother David McGeorge. She is survived by her children, Tina (Tim) Gosser, Timothy (Vina) Carpenter, Tammi Carpenter and Tonya Carpenter, 10 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, her sisters Sandra (Marty) Marion and Shelva Purdy and her brother Ernie McGeorge. A service to celebrate her life will take place on Thursday at 11:00 A.M. at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home with Dr. Roger Alber officiating. Cremation will follow. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour before the service. Bonnie's family would like to thank Erma for the wonderful care she gave to Bonnie.
