Bonnie L. Waters

Bonnie L. Waters, age 91 of Bloomington, Indiana, formerly of Massillon, Ohio, passed away on May 23, 2022. She was born in Navarre, Ohio on August 01, 1930 to the late Donald and Fern (Saam) Herrick. She was a 1948 graduate of Navarre High School She married Eugene Waters on August 03, 1952 and they shared 30 years together until his passing in 1982. Bonnie was the secretary for Amherst Elementary School for 26 years until her retirement. She was an avid gardener and loved flowers, enjoyed walking and would do so with her friends and was a diehard Ohio Buckeyes fan. Most of all, Bonnie was a dedicated and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Cindy and Richard Corwin; her grandchildren Jennifer (Aaron) Mobley, Jonathan Corwin, and Ashley (Orlin) Watson; her great-grandchildren Ava, August, Grace and Vivian Mobley and Finn Watson. In addition to her parents and husband, Bonnie was preceded in death by her good friend and companion Tom Pennypacker. A Celebration of her life will be held at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon on Thursday, May 26, 2022 at 1p..m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from noon until the time of the service. Entombment will take place at Rose Hill Memory Gardens.
