Bonnie Kay (Savage) McVay. 59 of Navarre passed away Friday November 16, 2012. Bonnie was born September 12, 1953 in Massillon to Byron & Mildred Savage. She was a 1971 graduate of Fairless High School and became a licensed practical nurse. Bonnie worked in the medical field for the majority of her life. She was deeply committed to her church, First Church of the Nazarene in Massillon. She enjoyed spending time with family, traveling, church and pampering her pets. Her father Bryon Savage preceded her in death. Bonnie is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, David McVay Sr. of Navarre; four children, Angela Brogan, Paul McVay, Mindy McVay and David McVay Jr.; also her mother, Mildred Savage; brothers, Timothy, Tom and Scott Savage; and several grandchildren. Friends may call Sunday from 6-8 PM at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon and Monday from 10 AM until the service at the church. Service will be 11 AM Monday at the First Church of the Nazarene in Massillon. Her husband, David McVay and Pastor John Stallings will officiate.
