Bobby L. Harper, 73, of Massillon, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, February 17, 2012, following an extended illness. He was born in Webster Springs, WV on April 27, 1938 to the late Rufus H. and Ora M. Westfall Harper. Bobby was the Assistant Manager and Tailor at Howard's Clothing, and was a veteran of the US Army. He was a member of Ernest Angley's Grace Cathedral in Akron for more than 50 years. He is survived by two daughters, Nancy Harper of Cuyahoga Falls, Sandra L. Heater of Canton, two grandchildren; Sean and Sara Tessanne of Canton, Amber Tessanne of Massillon, one great-grandchild, Christian Olsen of Massillon, two brothers; Johnny Harper of Arizona, Rodger and Janice Harper of Canton, three sisters; Ellen and Bob Chadwick of Canton, Wanda Solon of Massillon and Carolyn and Karl Jackson of FL. He was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Bonnie L. Torbert Harper, and three brothers; Billy J., Tommy and Carl Harper. Friends may call at the Paquelet and Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home, Massillon on Wednesday February 22, 2012 from 6:00PM – 8:00PM and one hour prior to a funeral service held Thursday, February 23, 2012 at 11:00AM Rev.
