Blanche I. Skelly age 76 of Massillon, passed away Sunday at Country Lawn Nursing Home in Navarre. She was born on August 26, 1932 in Massillon to the late Charles and Mary (McGinnis) Fink. Blanche retired from the shipping department at R.W. Screw, and also had worked as a waitress at the Croatian Club, Italian Club and the AMVETS. She enjoyed quilting and crocheting. Blanche met the love of her life In 1968 and later married him on June 26, 1980. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a grandchild, James Randolph; brothers, Thomas Burke and Chuck Fink and a sister, Doris Hoffner. She is survived by her husband, Ron Skelly, with whom she celebrated 29 years of marriage, sons and daughter-in-law, George Randolph of Alabama, James Randolph of Canton and Michael (Lisa) Skelly of Massillon; daughters and son-in-law, Jeanette (Richard) Shaffer of Massillon and Joyce Randolph of Canton; brother and sister-in-law, George (Carolyn) Fink of Massillon; sister, Laura Mowers of Barberton, 13 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services celebrating Blanche’s life will be held Thursday at 10:30 AM at the Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home in Massillon with Rev. Duane A. Wilbur officiating. Calling hours will be Wednesday 5:00 – 8:00 PM and one hour prior to the services on Thursday at the Funeral Home. Interment will take place following the services at Newmans Creek Cemetery in North Lawrence. Memorial contributions can be made to the Massillon Church of God.
