Billy J. Pauley, Sr.

Billy J. Pauley, Sr., age 71 of Massillon, died Thursday, May 17, 2007 at Affinity Medical Center-Massillon Campus. He was born on July 18, 1935 in Nellis WV and was the son of the late Lon & Margaret (Ward) Pauley. He was a Massillon resident since 1955. After Bill retired from the former Republic Steel Corporation he worked as a realtor with Cutler. He was a member of the Massillon Baptist Temple, the Clinton Lodge # 47 F. & A.M., the Scottish Rite Valley of Canton, Al Koran, the Massillon Oaks Club and Knight’s Templar. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter Victoria Pauley and 4 brothers. He is survived by his wife, Dimple F. Pauley whom he married on August 29, 1955, his children and their spouses, Billy J. Pauley, Jr. and Jennifer of Navarre, Jeremiah Pauley and Sarah of Santa Rosa, CA, Jennifer Pauley and Joe Siravo of Massillon and Christopher Wenhart of Massillon, his grandchildren, Trish Gibbs, Penny Pauley, Billy J. Pauley III, Sarah Riley, J.J. Siravo and Grace Pauley, his great grandchildren, Brianna Cherry, Alex Cherry, Ryan Gibbs, Sydney Ferguson and Hannah Ferguson, his sisters, Merlena (Ernie) Allison of Nitro, WV, Sandy (Ron) Burdette of Liberty, KY, Carolyn (Sonny) Decker of Mason, WV and Patricia (Bruce) Wilson of Virginia and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home on Tuesday from 1:00-2:30 P.M. A service to celebrate his life will take place at 2:30 P.M. with Rev. Cecil Thayer officiating. Cremation will follow. The Clinton Lodge will hold a Masonic service at 12:30 P.M. on Tuesday.
