Beverly June Cecil

Beverly June Cecil, 86, of, Canton, passed away unexpectedly at her home, on Tuesday, December 20, 2016. She was born January 6, 1930 in Massillon, Ohio to Harold and Mary (Rogers) Neal. Beverly married Donald Cecil on October 10, 1948. He passed away August 29, 1992. Beverly graduated from Washington High School in 1948. She was a member of the Faith United Methodist Church in North Canton and a member of the Eastern Star. She was considered "grandma" for many children that she took care of at Children of Grace Daycare, which she was very passionate about. Her favorite hobbies included gardening and sewing. Beverly's greatest pride and joy, however, was being a dedicated mother, grandmother and GG. Beverly will be deeply missed by her children, Linda (Brad) Nyholm of Jackson Township, Michael Cecil of Canton, and Jody (Terry) Dillon of Louisville; grandchildren, Darby (Bruce) Smith, BJ (Adrienne) Nyholm, Rebecca (Joseph) Monastra, and James Dillon ;great-grandchildren, Micah, Amelia, Riley and Elliott Smith, Lincoln and Vance Nyholm. In addition to her parents, Beverly was preceded in death by her husband and brothers, James and John Neal. Friends may call Thursday, December 22, 2016 from 5-7 pm and again on Friday morning from 10-11am at the Paquelet Funeral Home, in Massillon. Funeral services will be Friday, December 23, 2016 at 11am. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery.
