Beverly Jean Hay, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, peacefully went home to be with her Lord on June 29, 2024.
Beverly was born in Canton, Ohio on June 16, 1932 to the late Walter and Margaret Kienzle.
Later raised in Navarre, she dedicated herself to nursing, a profession that perfectly matched her compassionate spirit and genuine love for people.
Beverly was a devoted wife to James Hay, her childhood crush. Together they raised two children, Doug (Lisa) Hay and Debi (Ed) Hare, instilling in them the values of faith, love, and laughter.
Her six grandchildren Seth (Allison) Hare, Justin (Jessica) Hare, Jason {Karen) Hay, Brent (Kymberly) Hare, Joshua (Courtney) Hay, Jake (Kelsy) Hay and twenty great grandchildren brought her immense joy. She intentionally reached out to each of them and delighted in time spent together and shared pictures and stories. The grandchildren enjoyed her sense of humor, freely expressed opinions and her continual prayers for all.
A legacy of faith is a precious gift that Beverly leaves behind for her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Her unwavering faith in God’s love and provision guided her throughout life.
Spending time with treasured friends meant much to Bev, especially later in life when she was no longer able to venture out on her own. The neighbors, friends, and church members that reached out in love with cards, calls, prayers and visits touched her heart deeply.
