Beverly E. Hunter

Beverly Elaine Hunter, age 84 of Massillon, passed away Monday, June 20, 2011 at the Bethany Nursing Home. She was born in Massillon on September 12, 1926 to the late Leonard and Anna Rudy. She married the late Don James Hunter on Feb. 27, 1948. Beverly graduated from Washington High School, Class of 1944. She was a member of the East Greenville United Methodist Church Women’s Society and the East Greenville United Methodist Church. Surviving are: a daughter, Nancy Hunter Engle of Massillon, a son, Donald W. Hunter of Massillon, two grandchildren; Christine Engle Johal of Massillon and Leslie (David) Eberly of Beach City, three great-grandchildren; Liam Johal, Alex and Makayla Eberly, a brother, Robert (Mary Evelyn) Rudy of Massillon and her many friends and family at Bethany. The Family wishes to thank John and Betsy Baum, their family, the staff, residents and families of the Bethany Nursing Home for their care and kindness. Beverly loved you all. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, June 23, 2011 at 11am, conducted by the Rev’s. Harry and Mary Lou Merryman. Burial will be in Rose Hill Memorial Garden.
