Beverly E. Burch

Beverly E. Burch, age 74 of Massillon, passed away on Monday, July 5, 2010 at Aultman Hospital. She was born on October 8, 1935 in Canton, Ohio and was the daughter of the late Ray and Augusta (Beck) White. She was a 1953 graduate of Canton McKinley High School. She was employed at the Hoover Company, where she met the love of her life, Harold C. Burch, with whom she spent many happy years. She retired from Fleming Foods where she was a secretary. But the passion in her life was her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Beverly never knew a stranger. She had a very giving heart and was always willing to lend a helping hand. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold C. Burch in 1988, her brothers, Kenny White and John White and her sisters, Diane Mariol and Marlene White. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Kim (Rick) Himmel, Mark (Charlotte) Burch, Matt (Michelle) Burch and Sandy (Rick) Reed all of Massillon, her grandchildren, Mindy Milnes, Joseph Burch, Tiffany Burch, Zach Guiler, Jordan Guiler, Bethany Burch, Lexie Burch, Matthew Burch, Nicole Reed and Katie Cromwell, her great grandchildren, McKayla and Tyler Milnes. Also surviving are her brothers, Ray White of Louisville, OH, Gerald White of North Canton, OH and Charles White of Beach City, OH and her sister Mary Ellen Miller of Massillon and friend, Jim Geiser of Massillon. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday at 10:00 A.M. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Fr. Raymond L. Paul officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
