Beverly Ann Harper

Beverly Ann Harper, 82 of Massillon, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on Monday, August 22, 2016; the daughter of Benjamin Harper and Jean Pulliam Harper. Beverly graduated from Washington High School the class of 1953. She was retired from Massillon Community Hospital after many years of dictated service; a lifelong member of St. James AME Zion Church. Beverly was very active in her community she served on the Community Development Planning Board for the City of Massillon, and the Faith in Action Committee. Most importantly, her passion in life was spending time with her family and friends her life was filled with wonderful experiences. She volunteered every year at her church decorating the Christmas tree, and she loved sports especially her hometown team The Massillon Tigers. She was compassionate, warm and kind she will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She is preceded in death by her parents and three Brothers; Benjamin Donald Harper Jr., Leroy Harper, Harold Harper and Sister Betty Elizabeth Harper. She is survived by her two daughters Denise (Jeffery) Woodson of Canton, Ohio, Tracy Harper of Perry, Twp. Five grandchildren Jeffery (Jennifer) Woodson Jr., CeSandra (Mark) Woodson, LaNinka Harper, Cameron Harper and Shantel Harper. Beverly was blessed with ten great grandchildren Aniya, Bria, Brandon, DaVonte, Alexies, Gianna, Cameron Jr., Jeremiah, Leila and Antonio. Visitation is scheduled 10 am- 11am service starts at 11:00am, Saturday August 27, 2016 at St. James AME Zion Church; Massillon, Ohio 209-2nd Street SW Massillon, Ohio.
