Betty Lou Rogers

Betty L. Rogers, age 72 went to join her husband Kenneth on Saturday, September 15, 2012. She was born in Lockney WV on February 17, 1940 to the late Doy and Ruth Cunningham. She married Kenneth Rogers on May 30, 1959 and they were together for 26 years until his passing in 1985. Betty was a stay at home mom, who enjoyed raising her 8 kids and taking care of her husband. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Betty will be remembered as a devoted Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother who will be sorely missed by her family. She is survived by her children Sandra, Brenda, Patty, Gina, Debby, Wally, Kenny and Peggy; her 13 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 3 brothers and 2 sisters. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Jesse Rogers. A funeral service will be held at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 18, 2012 from 6 to 8 P.M. and from 10 A.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
