Betty L. Konen

Betty Maier Konen, passed away on January 07, 2019. She was a lifetime resident of Massillon. Betty was born February 24, 1931 to the late Sylvester and Catherine Fink. She is survived by her daughter Deb Sumption; grandsons Brian (Kate) Sumption, Jeffrey (Kelly) Sumption, Patrick (Abby) Maier, and Matthew (Amber) Maier; great-grandchildren Jakob and Stella Sumption and Braden and Connor Sumption, and Cameron Maier; stepson Fred (Annie) Konen; step-grandchildren Kate, Annie, Adam and Jeffrey Konen. Betty’s family, extended family and friends meant everything to her. She enjoyed her family and working outside in her yard. She was preceded in death by her husband Clarence Konen and her previous husband John Maier; son Timothy Maier; brother Robert Fink and many aunts and uncles. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Betty worked at E.B. Design for a number of years and retired from Perkins Realtors. A Funeral Service will be held at the Paquelet Funeral Home on Friday, January 11, 2019 at 11a.m. Fr. Edward Gretchko officiating.
