Betty L. Knight

Betty L. Knight, 79, passed away on Monday, August 11, 2014 in Massillon, following a brief illness. She was born in Massillon on October 1, 1934 to the late Ralph and Hazel (Caldwell) Graybill. Betty is survived by her three children, Ernest (Joy) Knight, Thomas (Marie) Knight and Betty (Larry) Holbrook;eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a brother, Clarence (Marilyn) Graybill and four sisters, Joan Byelene, Doris (David) Gardner, Xenia Jones and Hazel (Dale) Hendershot. She loved to play euchre with her sisters and mother. Betty was involved with Relay for Life for the past few years. She was a dedicated mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Knight in 1987, granddaughter, Cheryl Holbrook Anstine, three brothers, Ralph, James and Sam Graybill and a sister, Esther Ley. Friends may call at the Paquelet Funeral Home on Friday from 12:00PM-1:30PM with a funeral service to be held at 1:30PM. Burial will be in Brookfield Cemetery.
