Betty L. Combs

Betty L. Combs, 86 of Massillon, went Home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 17, 2017. She was born in Massillon on July 3, 1930 and was the daughter of the late Harry and Edith (McDougal) Hayes. Betty was a longtime member of the Massillon Baptist Temple Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Omer Combs, her daughter-in-law, Kathleen Combs and her sisters, Helen Krichbaum, Jean Merkel, Aullie DeFine and Juanita McDougal. Betty is survived by three sons, Pastor James L. Combs, Stephen M. Combs and Danny R. (Mary Ellen) Combs., three grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at the Massillon Baptist Temple, 1219 Overlook SW, Massillon, OH 44647 with burial to follow at Sunset Hills Burial Park. The family will receive friends on Monday from 6-8 p.m. at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home and one hour before the service on Tuesday.
