Betty L. Allen

Betty L. Allen, 85, passed away on December 27, 2020 following a battle with Covid - 19 She was born in Massillon on May 18, 1935. Betty retired from MCA SIGNS and worked as a Greeter at Walmart. She was known for her kind and giving spirit. She was dedicated to her family and was a member of Massillon Baptist Temple. She is survived by her children, Rebecca Cornell and Charlene Morrison; grandchildren, Kayla Morrison and Lindsey Cornell; great-grandson, Garrett Andrew Edward Steinberg; and an aunt, Erma Williams. Betty was preceded in death by her father, Albert Bartz; mother, Elizabeth “Virginia” (Salisbury) and Jake Holm; husband, Charles E. Allen; siblings, Duane and Norma Bartz, Karen Jones and Velma Holm. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, January 3, 2021 from 2-4pm in the Paquelet Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 4, 2021 at 10:30am, Pastor Cecil Thayer, officiating. Burial will follow in Brookfield Cemetery. Continuing with COVID-19 precautions, all attending will be asked to follow proper social distancing protocol and masks are required.
