Betty J. Miller

Betty J. Miller, age 87 went home to be with Jesus on August 4, 2013. She was born in Massillon on May 15, 1926 to the late John and Hazel (Aduddell) Gresh. She was a 1944 graduate of Washington High School. Betty married Maurice Miller on July 31, 1945 and they spent 58 years together until his passing on September 1, 2003. Betty worked 26 years for the Central States Can Company until her retirement. She enjoyed working in her garden and keeping her house spotless. Betty was a devoted Massillon Tigers fan and enjoyed going to breakfast with her friends. She will forever be remembered as a loving Mother, Grandmother and Grandma Muffy. She is survived by her children, Sharyn (Jim) Weber and Douglas (Jan) Miller; her grandchildren David (Monica)Weber, Mike (Becky) Weber, Heather (Jim) Peters, Megan (Josh) Blake and Aaron Miller; her great-grandchildren Brooke, Alec, Jordan, Josh, Noah, Evan, Lincoln, Lydea and Marlei; her brother Bob (Doris) Gresh; her sisters Marge Schludecker and Shirley (Jim) Mannweiler. In addition to her parents and husband, Betty was preceded in death by her brother Donnie Gresh. A Funeral Service will be held at Faith Lutheran Church on Thursday, August 8, 2013 at 11 A.M., Pastor Elaina Styblo officiating. The family will receive friends at the Paquelet Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 7, 2013 from 6 to 8 P.M and 30 minutes before the funeral service. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Betty's memory to the Salvation Army-315 6th Street NE, Massillon, OH 44646.
