Betty J. Anthony

Betty J. Anthony, 90, passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at Chapel Hill Community. She was born in Columbus on January 13, 1924 to the late Ole and Millicent (Yike) Winters. She was a secretary for the Columbus Pubic Schools for many years and retired in 1981. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Massillon. Betty was a very strong, determined and independent woman. She enjoyed traveling in the family Airstream and avid reader. She is survived by her children Linda (Keith) Richeson of North Canton and Michael (Janet) Anthony of Reynoldsburg; grandchildren Jamie Anthony(Tina Jenuleson), Sarah Anthony( Jason Chavarria), Laura (Elliott) Kuhn and Brian (Jen) Richeson; a great granddaughter Kaylin Kuhn. Friends and family will gather for a memorial service at 2:00PM on Saturday March 1, 2014 at Chapel Hill Community, 12200 Strausser ST NW, Canal Fulton, Rev. Sandra Hutchinson, officiating.
