Betty Christner

Betty Christner, 93, passed away on August 18, 2017, surrounded by her family. She was born in Canal Fulton on October 25, 1923 to the late Arnold & Faye (Frantz) Boak. Betty was dedicated to her family and loved to cook. She is survived by her children, Gary (Roseann) Christner, Dianne (Bob) Gresser and Todd Christner all of Massillon; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and four sisters, Peggy Sampson, Lucy Holmes, Doris Fisher and Donna (Tim) Ritter. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harley Christner; a daughter, Cheryl Christner and son, Harley Christner, Jr., two sisters, Rita Burger and Mary Hostetler and three brothers, Albert, Bob and Bert Boak. Friends may call at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 from 9:00am-11:00am with a funeral service at 11:00am with Fr. Michael Seifert, officiating. Burial will follow at Brookfield Cemetery.
