Betty Armintha Miller (Nee Hoyman)

Betty Armintha (Hoyman) Miller, age 76 of Massillon, died Friday, December 15, 2006 at her residence. She was born in Beech Grove on November 30, 1930 and was the daughter of the late Clem H. & E. Armintha (Kittinger) Hoyman. She was a lifelong area resident. Betty was a 1947 graduate of Washington High School. She retired from Diebold, Inc. and had also worked at Kempthorn Motors, Griscom-Russell and Dimitri’s Restaurant. She was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Earl, Wilford, Veryl & Ray Hoyman and her sister Ruth Hoyman. She is survived by her daughters, Kathy (Robert) Kanauer of Penfield, NY and Lynn Todaro of Massillon, her grandchildren, Sarah, Katie & Matt Kanauer and Meagan and Chad Todaro and her brother, Irvin “Chick” Hoyman and his friend Freda Wilson of Massillon. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday at 11:00 A.M. at the Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home with Rev. R.H. “Bob” Moore officiating. Burial will follow at Sixteen Cemetery.
