Betty A. Hemperly

Betty A. Hemperly, age 72 of Massillon, died on Wednesday, May 13, 2009 at Hospice Care Center in Copley, Ohio. She was born in Massillon on June 15, 1936 and was the daughter of the late Christ and Theresa (Huffman) Alexander. Along with her husband Ralph, she was the co-owner of Triple R Truck Repair. She was the former owner of Betty’s Pizza in Massillon. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Ricky Hemperly, her brothers, Bill and Don Alexander and her sister Mary Weick. She is survived by her husband Ralph J. Hemperly who she married on March 26, 1954, her sons and their spouses, Ralph D. and Lynn Hemperly of Uniontown, OH and Roger W. and Kathy Hemperly of Massillon, 9 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, her brothers James (Barb) Alexander of Massillon and Tom (Mary Lou) Alexander of Cicinnati, OH and her sister Lois Koprevic of Massillon. A service to remember the life of Betty Hemperly will take place on Friday at 1:30 PM at the chapel in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. There are no calling hours.
