Betty A. Dimitroff

Betty A. Dimitroff, age 91, of Massillon, passed away on Monday, November 15, 2021. She was born on February 25, 1930 to the late Charles and Dorothy (Fischer) Johnson. Betty was a 1948 graduate of Massillon Washington High School. Betty married Richard Dimitroff in 1949 and they shared 22 years together until his passing in 1971 Betty worked as a cashier and retired from All Occasions Florist. She enjoyed Water Skiing, Sky Diving and loved being outdoors enjoying the wildlife in her backyard. Betty was a kind person and genuinely loved people. She will forever be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She leaves to cherish her memory her children Linda Winkler and Richard Dimitroff; her grandsons Thomas and Timothy Dimitroff; her great-grandson Harvey Dimitroff as well as a host of family and friends. In addition to her parents and husband, Betty was preceded in death by her sons, Michael, Thomas and Timothy Dimitroff. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date. Donations in Betty’s memory can made to the Stark County Humane Society.
