Bette H. Sandera

Bette H. Sandera, age 85 of Massillon, died Friday, April 20, 2007 at Affinity Medical Center–Doctor’s Campus. She was born on June 30, 1921 in Massillon and was the daughter of the late Robert and Honorine (DeBos) Headland. Bette was a homemaker and very active in her church, Zion United Methodist Church in Canton. Along with her parents, Bette was preceded in death by her husband, Robert W. Sandera and her sister Patricia Hensler. She is survived by her daughters and their husbands, Linda and Roger Jacobsen of Massillon and Shawn and Craig Chapman of Loveland, Ohio, her grandchildren, Scott Patrick Chapman, Laura Marie Chapman and Tracy Jacobsen and her brother Robert Headland of Massillon. A service to celebrate the life of Bette Sandera will take place at the Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home on Tuesday at 11:00 AM with her pastor, Rev. Dave Maly officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 5-8 P.M.
