Berniece H. Pry

Berniece H. Pry, 88 of Massillon, died on Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at her home. .She was born in Bolivar, Ohio on March 16, 1922 and was the daughter of the late Otto and Della (Bentzel) Wuske. She was an area resident for most of her life. She retired from Jackson Local Schools where she was a school bus driver. She was a member of the Perry Grange, was an active participant with the Stark County Fair for many years and showed Shorthorn cattle all over Ohio. She was past president of the Ohio Gourd Society. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Raymond A. Pry in 1988, her sisters, Helen Wuske and Gladys Gerber and her brothers, Robert and Don Wuske. She is survived by her daughter Linda Hudson of Florida, her grandchildren, Angela, Faith, Stacey and Brandon, 8 great grandchildren and her sisters, Flo Brown, Dorothy Wenger, Elna Williams and Della Hartong. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10:00 A.M. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 127 Cherry Road N.E. in Massillon with Pastor Rhonda Gallagher officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Friday from 6-8 P.M. at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home, 1100 Wales Road N.E. in Massillon and on Saturday at the church from 9:30 - !0:00 A.M..
