Bernice G. Lambert

Bernice G. Lambert, age 76 of Jackson Twp. passed away June 26, 2012 at her residence with her family at her side. Bernice was born March 12, 1936 in Castlewood, VA to the late Felix & Carrie (Hale) Jessee and lived here most of her life. She was pleased to greet those coming to the Canton Center Walmart. Those who she had the pleasure of working with were considered extended family. She was everybody's mom, loved to cook, garden and feed the birds. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two children, Randy & Jerry and three sisters, Juanita Boardwine, Dorothy Crawford and Elizabeth Jessee. Bernice is survived by her husband of 59 years, Buster Lambert; two sons and daughters in law, Ron & Julie Lambert and Jeffery & Debby Lambert; there are nine grandchildren and one great granddaughter and her remaining brother and sister in law, Felix & Kathy Jessee. Her funeral service will be 10:30 AM Friday at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon, Rev. Ed Harnish will officiate. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery.
