Bernice E. Baker

Bernice E. Baker, 91, of Navarre, passed away Sunday, November 30, 2014 at her residence surrounded by her son and daughter-in-law. Bernice was born on November 5, 1923 in New Philadelphia, the daughter of David and Myrtle (Allenbaugh) McMerrell. She worked for Massillon Container Corp. for 29 years. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Orval Baker, her son, Edward Baker and her infant daughter, Bonnie. She is survived by her son, Ron (Linda) Baker; her niece, Caroline (George) McDougall; grand niece and nephew, Melinda and Jim; 2 step grandchildren; and 3 step great-grandchildren.
