Benjamin Richard Rottman

Benjamin Richard Rottman, age 83 of Massillon, passed away following an extended illness at Affinity Medical Center , Massillon on Friday June 24, 2011. He was born on July 20, 1927 in Massillon to the late Benjamin G. and Marian Young Rottman. He married the late Margaret L. Snyder on April 1, 1951. He was a lifelong resident of the area. He was a Self- employed Golf Course Designer and Tree Farmer. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the US Navy. Benjamin received his Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering from Akron University. He is survived by: a brother, Ralph E. ( Joann) Rottman of Massillon, a nephew, James E. ( Vicki) Rottman of Biloxi, MS, a niece , Julie A. ( Mike) Kovatch of Massillon Friends may call at the Paquelet- & Arnold –Lynch Funeral Home on Monday, June 27, 2011 from 6-8 PM. Funeral services will be Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at 10AM at the funeral home, conducted by Rhonda Gallagher. Burial will follow at Sunset Hills Burial Park.
