Barry Mcclelland Miller

Barry McClelland Miller passed away on Monday, June 10, 2013 at Aultman Hospital after a short illness. He was surrounded by his family and friends who loved him dearly. He was born at Aultman Hospital on December 12, 1932. After growing up in Canton, he earned a B.S. in Physics at Capital University in Columbus, OH and a M.S. in Physics at Ohio University. He worked for Goodyear as an Engineer for 17 years and for Ohio Edison as a Nuclear Engineer for 23 years before retiring as VP of Engineering and Construction in 1996 to enjoy driving his truck all over Carroll County while pretending to run errands for his wife. He also enjoyed telling jokes, drinking a glass of Merlot, spending time with his dogs and going on long walks on the beach with his grandchildren. He is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Ann Miller; son, Michael (Lisa) Miller; daughters Beth (Pete) Vaitekunas and Stephanie (J.P.) Nicols; grandchildren Dustin ( Anita) Vaitekunas, LiAnnette Mills, Ashley ( Mike) Wright, Sara Miller, Brett Miller, Alexis Vaitekunas, Abigail Vaitekunas, Amelia Vaitekunas, and Samantha Nicols; and great-grandchildren, Dynasty Larsuel, Jamil Mills, Avery Vaitekunas, Kristian Wright, and Xavier Vaitekunas. A private service for immediate family will be held. The family requests that donations be made to The Battered Women's Shelter of Summit County Christmas for Children (974 E.
