Barry A. Cox

Barry A. Cox, age 74 of Massillon, passed away on Monday, November 20, 2017 at his home. He was born on December 15, 1942 in Dennison, Ohio to the late John and Helen (Figley) Cox. Barry was a 1960 graduate of Washington High School and a 38 year employee of the Timken Company. In his spare time, he enjoyed attending car shows as well as working on cars and he was an avid Ohio sports enthusiast especially that of the Massillon Tigers. Barry’s family will keep in their memory the wonderful fishing trips to Canada and many Sunday night family gatherings. Barry is survived by his childhood sweetheart and loving wife of 55 years, Saundra (Jenkins) Cox; two children Denise (Charles) Condo and Terry (Karen) Cox; three grandchildren Alexia (Joseph) Thomas, Derek Condo and Daniel Condo; great granddaughter Madeleine; sister Debra (James) Barnes and many nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 24, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Newman Creek Cemetery.
