Barbara Sue Bailey

Barbara Sue “Ma Sue” Bailey, 78 of Massillon, passed away on Thursday, May 17, 2018. Sue was born on October 27, 1939 in Stumptown, WV the daughter of the late Park and Beulah (Bennett) Stump. Sue enjoyed crocheting and attending dirt track stock car races with her late husband Dallas F. Bailey whom she shared 43 years of marriage before he passed away in 1999. She was a longtime member of the Copley Baptist Temple where she sang in the choir. Along with her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Ronald “Sonny Gump” Stump and sisters, Patricia “Rosie Bailey and Helen “Watsie” Watson. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Douglas (Tonia) Bailey, David (Nettie Hupp) Bailey, Connie (James) Taylor and Jodi (Bailey) Gray; grandchildren, Amanda, Jesse, Sara, Corie, Ashley, Amber, Amanda, Dallas and Dillon; great grandchildren, Chandler, Victoria, Lennon, Morgan, Allie and Bryce; sisters, Judy “Seal” Albrecht and Vicki “Lil Bear” Stump; brother, Charles “Chuck” Stump; and numerous nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Sue’s life will be held on Monday, May 21, 2018 at 12 p.m. at the Paquelet Funeral Home. Her pastor, Rev. Daniel Hanlon will be Officiating. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-4 p.m. and from 11- 12 p.m. at the funeral home on Monday.
