Barbara M. Harder

Barbara M. Harder, 94, of Massillon, passed away on Monday, April 28, 2014, following a brief illness at the Laurels of Massillon. She was born in Akron on January 4, 1920 to the late Richard and Florence (Lamb) Mann. Barbara worked as a cashier at Carm's Food. Her greatest pleasure was spending time with her loving family. She is survived by her children, Robert (Gretchen) Harder, Nancy (Raymond) Isla both of Massillon and Richard (Debbie) Harder of Brunswick, daughter-in-laws, Christine Harder of Massillon and Nancy Harder of Perry Twp, seventeen grandchildren, thirty-three great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Norwood H. Harder; two sons, Norwood L. Harder and Jerry R. Harder; brother, Richard Mann and great-grandson, Max Thornsbury. Friends and family may call at the Paquelet Funeral Home on Saturday, May 3, 2014 from 9:00AM-11:00AM with a funeral service to follow at 11:00AM, Rev. Clifford Price, officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Hills Burial Park.
