Barbara K. Greavu, age 71 of Marion and had recently moved to Port Charlotte, passed away on April 20, 2020. She was born in Massillon on January 07, 1949 to the late Robert and Shirley (Baer) Hoffner. She was a 1967 graduate of Washington High School, where she was a Majorette for 3 years. She Married Don Greavu on December 23, 1977 and they shared almost 45 years. Barbara worked as Fiscal Officer for the State of Ohio for 27 years until her retirement. She enjoyed singing, gardening, being with her friends and was known as a notorious Cleanaholic. She sang in a traveling chorus including Las Vegas, Colorado. She will forever be remembered as a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband Don; her son and daughter-in-law Brian and Jessie Greavu; her grandchildren Casey (Jasmine) Greavu, Tarren (Heather) Cozad, Presten Cozad and Mylee Greavu; her great grandchildren Chason and Amelia Greavu Jaxon Cozad; her sister Carol Marlow; her stepchildren Cindy (Jeff) Cobb, Michael (Tiffany) Greavu; step grandchildren Jason Cobb, Zachary (Natalie) Cobb, Molly Cobb, Megan Cobb, Brandon Greavu and Kayla Greavu. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, her stepson David Greavu and her brother-in-law Dick Marlow. A private service will be held with burial at Oakwood Cemetery.
