Barbara J. Kaufman

Barbara J. Kaufman age 74 of Massillon passed away August 26, 2009 at Affinity Medical Center. Barbara was born August 21, 1935 in Elk Garden, WV to the late John & Marcel Rawlings and was raised in Akron. She loved being a homemaker, traveling in their camper and following the activities of her children. In addition to her parents her first husband, Lyle Chapman died in 1969 and a stepson, David Kaufman. Barbara is survived by her husband David Kaufman with whom she would have shared 40 years of marriage on November 23rd. She has three children: Diane Smith, Dennis Chapman, and Neal Chapman; and three stepchildren, Debbie, Tina, and Keith. There are numerous grandchildren. Funeral Service for Barbara Kaufman will be 10:30 AM Saturday at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon. Burial will be at Brookfield Cemetery.
