Barbara Ann Lamp

Barbara A. Lamp, 59, of Massillon, passed away, Friday, March 10, 2017. She was born on February 18, 1958 in Cleveland, Ohio to Lavonne and Dorotha (Coss) Smith. Barbara was a graduate of Washington High School and alumni of the class of 76'. She then married Steven Lamp on February 27, 1989. They shared 28 loving, years together. Barbara was a registered nurse and worked for Mercy Medical Center for 25.5 years. She really loved warm weather and vacationing with her family. One of her favorite places to be was Lake Hartwell. Barbara's greatest pride and joy in life, however, was being a wife, mother and especially a grandmother to her 8 grandchildren who will all miss her tremendously. She is survived by her husband Steven; children, Nicole (Michael) O'Reilly, Brandi (Nathaniel) Lewis, Tyler Lamp, Matthew Lamp, and Madison Lamp; Grandchildren, Nathaniel, Leiah, Noah, Cedella, Alyssa, Nolan, Bree and Nixon; and sister, Rebecca (Bruce) Conery. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents. The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 18, 2017 from 10-11 am at the Church of Christ in Massillon. Funeral Services will follow at 11 am with Evangelist Glenn Hawkins officiating. Burial will take place at East Union Lawn Cemetery in Navarre.
