Barbara Ann Lackney

Barbara Ann Lackney, 74, passed away on March 1st, 2022. She was born in Canton, Ohio to the late Leonard Vlacovsky and Mary (Schwitzgebel) Vlacovsky. She married Dennis Lackney on December 14, 1968. Barbara worked as a lab accession technician at Aultman Hospital. She loved Bob Dylan, folk music and reading. She was also dedicated to her family, she loved spending time with her grandkids and her kitty Elsa. She is survived by her children Cynthia (Damon) Magenau, Julie Lackney, Kathleen (Joseph Hafer) Lackney, and Stephen (Jessica) Lackney. Her grandchildren, Madison (Jacob) Morgan, Alison (Truvonte) Morgan, Tristan Lackney, Isabella Lackney, Serena Lackney, Joseph Alborn, and one great grandchild on the way. Barbara has seven brothers and sisters along with numerous nieces and nephews. Along with her parents and husband, she is proceeded in death by her daughter, Stacey Lackney. Visitation will be held at Paquelet Funeral Home at 4:00pm on March 10, 2022 with a memorial service following at 5:00pm.
