Barbara A. Wolfe

November 20, 1934 — June 20, 2022

Barbara A. Wolfe, 87, of Massillon, passed away June 20, 2022. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio on November 20, 1934, to the late Leroy and Walberta (Speicher) Fread. She was a lifelong member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Massillon for many years and where she volunteered her time in the soup kitchen for over 20 years. In her free time, Barb enjoyed playing board games with her family even if she didn’t have a good winning streak and she was also an avid bowler for over 34 years. Barb was the matriarch of her family. She was a devoted wife to her husband for 45 years, a loving mother and proud grandmother and great-grandmother. The best thing Barb gave her family was the time and memories they shared together over the years. She is survived by her son, Thomas (Angela) Wolfe and her daughter, Annette (Tim) Skelly; Grandchildren, Christopher (Angie) Peterson, Tiffany (Rocky Pfisterer) Peterson, Matthew (Brittney) Wolfe, and Michael (Emily Robinson) Wolfe; great-grandchildren, Peyton and Coen Wolfe. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Earl Wolfe; brothers, Leroy Fread and Robert Fread, and sister, Marilyn Martin. The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 25th from 10am to 11am at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon. Funeral services will follow at 11am with Fr. Raymond Paul officiating. Burial will be held at Brookfield Cemetery following the funeral.
