Audrey Lee Ann Vellucci

Audrey Lee Ann Vellucci, 85 of Perry Township, passed away Friday, June 13, 2014 at her residence. She lived here most of her life. Audrey was born on October 4, 1928 in Clairton, PA the daughter of the late Michael and Helen (Papson) Pido. She was an avid book reader, loved babies, crossword puzzles, crocheting and the game show 'Jeopardy'. Audrey and her late husband John visited and vacationed at most of the national parks in the U.S., including Alaska. In her earlier years she loved gardening and cooking for her family. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, John Vellucci in 2002. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Daniel (Maureen) Vellucci, Christine (James) Steigerwald, John (Judy) Vellucci, Mary Kay Vellucci and Michael (Christine) Vellucci; her grandchildren, Daniel & Beth, Susanne, Tracy and Rob, Sarah & Rick, John & Cindy, Billy, Katie, Jacob, Seth, Michael and Rachael; her great grandchildren, Gary, Jimmy, Ben, Megan, Ryan and Abby; her brother and sister-in-law, Michael (Emma) Pido; and many nieces and nephews. The Vellucci family would like to acknowledge and thank all of her neighbors on Lombardi Avenue for their years of friendship and kindness. Their constant attention for our mother's well-being over the years is greatly appreciated. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the Paquelet Funeral Home. Rev. Thomas Shank will be Officiating. Entombment will follow at Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday from 6-8 p.m. and on Tuesday one hour prior to the service.
